A grand jury in New Jersey has indicted Fabolous on 4 felony charges related to his alleged assault on his girlfriend Emily Bustamante.
The rapper was indicted on 1 count of domestic violence with significant bodily injury, 2 counts of threatening to kill and 1 count of possession of a weapon, a pair of scissors. All 4 charges are for third-degree crimes in New Jersey, which means he could face up to 5 years in prison.
In March, Fabolous was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend, the former Love and Hip-Hop reality series star Bustamante.
TMZ had reported then that Bustamante called the police on Fabolous after he allegedly struck her at their home in Englewood, New Jersey. Soon after, Fabolous turned himself into police with his attorney by his side, but was released in quick fashion.
Bustamante and Fabolous have two children together, two-year-old Jonas Jackson and ten-year-old Johan Jackson.
Meanwhile, both Emily and Fab are still together, TMZ reports. They have attended events together as a couple in recent months, and have gone on family vacations together.
