Kate Beckinsale gave a very catty response to the rumour she’d left a Golden Globe Awards after party with Ariana Grande’s ex Pete Davidson.
Kate, 45, and Pete, 25, were both guests at the Netlflix bash on Sunday, where according to one looker, they enjoyed some alone time on the outside patio ‘sipping champagne and looking flirty’ before exiting together.
Neither commented on the speculation, first published by US gossip site Page Six, but Kate finally decided to pipe up after a fan brought the seemingly sore subject up on her Instagram page.
The sassy exchange came as Kate shared a photo of her model mum Julie to the site.
One fan wrote in the comment section: "Dear heavens, Kate. Not Pete Davidson."
The actress then shot back: "No that’s my mother. Easy mistake."
Pete is currently single after splitting with fiancé Ariana Grande in October when their whirlwind romance came to an abrupt end.
The SNL comedian proposed to his popstar girlfriend after just four weeks of dating.
Speaking at Sunday night’s Golden Globe’s, Pete told Page Six he was ‘doing good’ following concerns over his mental health following his break-up with the Thank U, Next singer.
Peter told his Instagram followers he ‘didn’t want to be on this earth anymore’ as Ariana rushed to his side.
Kate, who has a 19 year-old daughter from her relationship with Michael Sheen, also hit the headlines last year as she was linked to comedian Jack Whitehall.
Kate was previously dating 21-year-old stand-up comedian and actor Matt Rife.
