Woman gets her filthy oven door sparkling in minutes using £2 hob cleaner

A WOMAN has transformed her oven door from filthy to sparkling in just minutes using a £4 hob cleaner.

The self-proclaimed "cleaning mad" social media user revealed she had effectively removed the "gunk" with the unlikely cheap spray.

In before and after images shared to Instagram, the glass pane of her oven looks unrecognisable.

The first pic shows the door splattered in brown cooking remnants.

However, the second photo shows it looking like-new.

She revealed she used Astonish Hob Cleaner – which costs  £2.25 a bottle – along with a brush to get it sparkling.

Gave it a well deserved scrub! I had to unscrew the glass from the oven door and use my bbq brush to clean the gunk off. The woman also said she had to unscrew the glass from the door to access the hard-to-reach dirt.

She captioned the snaps: "Gave it a well deserved scrub! I had to unscrew the glass from the oven door and use my bbq brush to clean the gunk off.

Another mum used another two-ingredient trick, costing £3.50, to clean her dirty grill and oven trays.

And earlier this week we told you how a mum uses a 69p Poundstretcher paste to clean stubborn burns off the bottom of her frying pan in minutes.
