‘I lost my dad this year, we lost Nipsey, we lost Mac,’ he said. ‘What I’m starting to realise, all we really have is memories at the end of the day, that’s all we are.
‘All we are really is data. You pass onto your kids, you can pass it on to your friends, your family… what I’m saying is while you’re here, while we’re here, feel something and pass it on.’
On Sunday night Ariana Grande took to the stage to wow the scene with her Arichella, dubbed by the fans.
As Diddy and Mase joined her for a rendition of Mo Money Mo Problems (it was as epic as it reads), they paid tribute to all their fallen colleagues, including Nipsey and Mac, as well as Notorious BIG who sang the tune with Diddy back in the 90s.
Wiz Khalifa wasn’t going to let the tributes go either, as he made sure fans knew they needed to also pay their respects.
On Saturday he said: ‘The Marathon will always continue my brother… make some noise again for Nipsey Hussle.’
He continued: ‘Make some noise for a Pittsburgh legend that we lost, his name is Mac Miller.’
We’re just going to be over here crying.
