‘German Love Island’ contestants strip completely naked for country’s most extreme reality TV show ‘Adam sucht Eva’

Filthy reality series Adam Seeks Eve: Promise in Paradise believes that couples are better able to get to know each other if they meet naked.

Like its UK counterpart, a group of contestants are sent away to live together on the idyllic island of Tikehau in French Polynesia with the aim of finding their perfect match.

But, if you thought the hit ITV show was a bit racy, the undercover antics on the German version are not so undercover.

On this incarnation of reality TV, celebrities are contractually obliged to ditch their clothes on arrival while they have uncensored romps with members of the public.

Producers believe couples are better able to get to know each other if they meet naked because clothes have the power to convey social status and are used to establish a person's cultural beliefs.

The series is a huge hit in Germany, being watched by up to 1.5 million people and is based on a Dutch show “Adam Zkt. Eva”.

A description for the show reads: "A man and a woman meet for the first time on a tropical island, bare-naked.

"Their profiles match on paper, but do they find true love in reality?

"A third person arrives after the two spend the night together, also naked, resulting in a duel to eliminate the other contestant. The chosen candidate gets the power in a last twist – to choose love or leave with money."

Last year, The Sun Online reported how in one episode, singer Melody Haase's steamy session with professional kite surfer Marius Hoppe was caught on camera.

The two hauled a mattress to the top to get away from the other contestants and got down to business.

In an interview Melody played coy, saying: "The night in the lighthouse was interesting."

But the lusty lovebirds had a violent bust-up soon afterwards and during one vicious argument, Melody spat in his face before pushing him off the bed.
