Actor Jackson Odell dies suddenly aged 20

Jackson Odell has died aged 20, according to US site TMZ.

The Goldbergs actor, who is also a singer and songwriter died Friday in the San Fernando Valley.

A source said: "We’re told he was found unresponsive in a sober living home, and there were no signs of foul play."

After launching his acting career at the age of 12, Jackson starred in several hit TV shows including iCarly, Arrested Development and as Ted Durkas in Modern Family.

He also appeared in the teen movie Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer in 2011.

Talented Jackson also wrote several songs for the soundtrack of the 2018 movie ‘Forever your Girl.’

He is also known for penning the Lauren Alaina hit, ‘Forever Your Girl.’

Jackson grew up in Colarado but moved to Nashville to pursue a career in Country music.

He set up his own YouTube channel JaxnSings to showcase his original songs.

Jackson’s biggest TV role was starring as Ted Durkas, a schoolmate of Luke Dunphy and Manny Delgado’s.

His character was known for giving the boys a hard time and appeared in the episodes My Funky Valentine and Open House of Horrors.
