Adult film star Jessica Jaymes' death ruled as natural, alcohol abuse a factor

Adult film star Jessica Jaymes’ death has been ruled ‘natural’ after she suffered a massive seizure – although alcohol abuse also played a part.

The Weeds star died in September aged 43 after suffering a seizure at her home in California.

Now, Jessica’s death has been ruled ‘natural’, although the LA County Coroner’s Office noted that ‘chronic ethanol abuse’ was one of the contributing factors to her death.

The porn star was found unresponsive at her home in North Hills, Los Angeles, by a friend on 17 September who called the ambulance.

Law enforcement sources claimed that emergency services received a call for a cardiac arrest in the San Fernando Valley; Jessica – real name Jessica Redding – was pronounced dead on the scene.

Jessica worked as a teacher for three years before she began to appear in adult films in 2002.

In 2004 she was signed by Hustler, and in 2005 was named their ‘honey of the year’.

Jessica was prolific on the porn scene, starring in 236 films.

As well as porn, she appeared as herself on several episodes of the Showtime series Weeds as well as on Celebrity Rehab Sober House.

Less than a week before her passing, Jessica shared a post to Instagram, showing herself getting her hair and make-up done while topless.

She wrote: ‘Hey guys took a little vacation for a couple of days I love you all❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ apologies and I hope everyone is having the best sex time of their life!’
