Amir Khan and wife Faryal Makhdoom announce the birth of their third baby

Professional boxer Amir Khan has announced the arrival of his third child with his wife Faryal Makhdoom.

The 33 year old former light-welterweight world champion shared the happy news as he posted a photo of himself holding his newborn son on his Instagram.

Sharing the news with his 1.3million followers, the I'm A Celeb star wrote in the caption: “My beautiful Son Muhammad Zaviyar Khan was born today 22/02/20 weighing 7lbs 12oz. #dadofthree #alhumdulilah #blessed”. [sic]

Just a week before Faryal, 28, gave birth to their third child, the stunning boxer’s wife posed in pink Pretty Little Thing onsie as she counted down the days until her due date.

The mum affectionally held her bump as she stood side on in front of a white doorway in the snap posted on her Instagram page.

Writing to her 884,000 followers, she admitted she had mixed feelings about her upcoming labour.

She said: “Hey guys!This will probably be my last baby bump picture before I give birth.

“I’m so nervous and excited at the same time…I can’t wait to meet my prince #9months #readytopop.” [sic]

The couple announced they were expecting their third child together in August 2019 with a gender reveal video on Instagram.

The clip shows the pair popping a balloon to announce if they were having a boy or a girl.

In the footage Faryal says: “We’re having our third child, and we’re so excited and nervous at the same time. He or she, what will baby Khan be?”

Amir, who’s seen wearing a boxing glove, then adds: “I’m going to punch the balloon to see what the gender is,“ before bursting the balloon with a punch.

Right on cue, blue confetti is seen pouring out, and the couple celebrate as Amir says: “Oh wow, it’s a boy! It’s a boy!”

The pair are also parents to five year old Lamaisah Khan and Alayna Khan, one.

Amir and Faryal have been married for just over six years, but their relationship hasn’t come without its difficulties.

Weeks after the birth of their second daughter in 2018, Amir slammed claims he cheated on his wife with beautician Sophia Hammani, calling the rumours “total nonsense” on Twitter.
