Amy Hart enlists professional help after ‘stress’ from Love Island caused damage to body muscles
Former Love Island contestant Amy Hart has shared more about how her experience on the show caused damage to her health.
The presenter and actress, 28, who recently revealed the reason why Love Islanders can sleep in different beds, posted a series of videos to Instagram explaining she'd just been to see a physiotherapist after experiencing hip pain when she made the revelation.
Speaking in her car after the appointment, she said: "Just been for physio. Oh my god. So when I came out of Love Island, all the muscles on my ribs had, like, lifted where I was so stressed."
"And then it turned out my back was all out of kilter anyway, and it’s been fine."
"I’ve had loads of hip pain recently. I just went back and my left hip doesn’t move at all, so then my right hip is like, trying to move for both of them."
She then attempted to move her head to the left as she said: "And my neck… so to turn this side, I can turn the whole way."
“Turn this side, I can literally get it to like, here,” she continued, visibly straining to turn to her right as much as she could. “So I’ve just had all manipulations and stuff, so hopefully now I will feel better in myself."
Amy appeared in the fifth series of the ITV2 dating show in 2019, where she was famously coupled up with dancer and presenter Curtis Pritchard, 26.
She's since found love with Sam Rason, who she met after he made the first move on Instagram.
They went public with their relationship in August 2021 when Amy posted a cute snap of the two of them on social media.
Back in June, Amy and Sam gave OK! an exclusive tour of the home they now share after he moved in with her and her housemate earlier this year.
Amy also revealed exclusively to OK! that she ruined the super sweet moment in which Sam told her he loved her for the first time.
While on holiday in Spain, Amy admitted she pipped him to the post and said it first.
“Basically, Sam was about to tell me he loved me, but me being me, ruined it,” she said.

“He was like, ‘I’m really falling for you’, and I went, ‘I love you too!’ before he could say it.”
Sam commented: “So you said it first.”
“I said it first apparently,” Amy laughed.
She revealed all about the sweet moment while they took part in OK! ’s Relationship Quiz, seeing who knew more about their other half, after Amy revealed her relationship with Sam is her "happy ending".
