Aubrey Plaza recently was named Delaware’s Most Famous Person, which came as a shock to her given its much more famous citizens, such as former Vice President Joe Biden.
“I honestly don’t know how I did that,” she said on “Conan” Wednesday. “He didn’t even make it in the top three. And I was trolling him on Twitter! Because I was like “How did this happen? How am I… You were Vice President!’” she recalled of her lighthearted cyber trolling.
The “Parks and Recreation” alum, 33, sarcastically joked that her stacked résumé is what landed her the award.
“But I’m just really famous there for many things I guess,” she quipped. “I didn’t ask for this.”
The “Legion” actress also beat out Valerie Bertinelli and singer George Thorogood.
Seven hundred and fifty readers of Delaware’s News Journal paper voted to determine the state’s Most Famous Person award.
