Rita Ora was excited to release her comeback single, “Girls,” last week, but the world didn’t feel the same. Many people, including queer singers Hayley Kiyoko and Kehlani, criticized the song for having lyrics about experimentation that harmful to the LGBTQ+ (more specifically, bisexual) community.
Rob Kardashian was one of the few celebs to show his support for the tune, but now Cardi B, who is featured on it, has also spoken out in its defense.
While the 25-year-old rapper stands behind “Girls,” she does admit to using offensive language toward the LGBTQ+ community in the past and apologizes for her actions.
