Caroline Flack’s best friend Lou Teasdale has paid tribute to the late star, six months after her tragic death.

Former One Direction hairstylist and makeup artist Lou shared two throwback photos of herself and Caroline together, who was 40 years old when she took her own life in February.

The first snap shows Lou sat on the back of a grey sofa while taking the photo in the mirror while Caroline is posing next to her as she kneels on the couch.

The second touching photo shows Lou tucking her hair behind her ear while sat closely next to a widely smiling Caroline.

Lou then paid tribute to Caroline in the caption as she wrote: “6 months without you. I miss you” followed by a red heart emoji.

She then urged her 4.1million followers to: “Look after your friends x”.

Lou’s touching tribute comes after the inquest into Caroline Flack’s resumed earlier this month.

During the inquest, a statement from Lou’s father Stephen Teasdale was heard.

Stephen said he and his daughter went to the scene after Caroline’s sister Jody phoned Louise to say she couldn’t get into the TV star’s home.

He said: “We came to the flat and tried to force entry. We thought about phoning the police but knew the landlady… We got the key and let ourselves into the flat.”

Stephen then said he found Caroline’s lifeless body hanged.

He continued: “I brought her (down) and Jody started CPR.

“We were giving CPR for somewhere between five and ten minutes, then the police took over.”

The inquest also heard how Caroline, who’s former boyfriend Lewis Burton was seen hugging a mystery woman, took her own life after hearing she would be prosecuted.

Coroner Mary Hassell gave a verdict of suicide, saying: “I am entirely satisfied she intended to cause her own death. She hanged herself.

“I find the reason for her taking her life was she now knew she was being prosecuted for certainty, and she knew she would face the media, press, publicity – it would all come down upon her. To me, that's it in essence.”

Caroline’s mother Christine then slammed the police officer who pushed for the star to be charged.

She said: “She (Caroline) cut her arm (to cause serious injury to herself)… and you were putting an appeal in to get her prosecuted, you never bothered to see her.

If it had been… an ordinary person, you wouldn't have prosecuted. I see domestic abuse and I just think you should be disgusted with yourself so there is nothing we can do to bring Caroline back.

“I hope in hindsight you do regret this. This girl killed herself because you put an appeal through.”
