A little mother-daughter competition is hitting the Dancing with the Stars ballroom this fall!
TMZ reports that both Charli D’Amelio and her mom Heidi have joined the cast of the upcoming 31st season.
This will of course be the first season of the show on Disney+, where it moves to stream live, instead of airing on ABC.

Sources tell TMZ that it won’t be a team effort, but that they will be competing against each other and the other celebs.
Charli of course was a competitive dancer before gaining fame on TikTok. In season one of her family’s Hulu series, she talked about getting away from dance and trying to get back into training.
The young TikTok star also previously appeared on Step Into… The Movies with DWTS judge Derek Hough and his sister Julianne.
Speaking of Derek, he previously said, “I think it’d be really cool to see one of the D’Amelio sisters on there. Charli‘s a really talented dancer and she’s obviously crushing it in the content, TikTok world. I think she would be really good.”
Looks like it’s happening!
The D’Amelios being on Dancing with the Stars also comes at a perfect time as season two of The D’Amelio Show comes to Hulu on September 28th.
DWTS premieres September 19th.
