One of fashion’s most iconic muses is now a new mom.
Actress and model Chloë Sevigny has given birth to her first child, her rep confirmed to Page Six. Currently, no other details—such as the child’s name or sex—have been revealed.
Sevigny was photographed out and about in New York City, cradling her newborn and with her boyfriend, Sinisa Mackovic, by her side. For the outside excursion, the actress and the director of Karma Art Gallery were both wearing protective gloves and face masks due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Though news of Sevigny’s pregnancy first broke in January, the actress went on to confirm the reports herself with a series of artistic, black-and-white, baby belly-baring portraits shot by director Jim Jarmusch soon after.
Sevigny, who entered the tail-end of her pregnancy amidst the COVID-19 outbreak in New York City, recently told The Cut about what she can’t wait to do once the world enters a post-coronavirus era.
“Hopefully I’m not pregnant in this scenario because the answer is: drink like five martinis and smoke a pack of cigarettes. I know we’re not supposed to promote smoking, but I do miss it,” said the actress. “I’m very excited to get drunk with friends and dance at The Pyramid after the baby’s out. That frivolous revelry that we used to participate in… Just being able to let go. I can’t wait for us to go dancing and sing our hearts out and cry and twirl about.”
