Dan Osborne has admitted to cheating on wife Jacqueline Jossa – but if the tables were turned, he wouldn’t have stayed with her.
The former Towie star has claimed that if Jacqueline, 27, had have cheated on him, he would have dumped her, despite her staying with him through his indiscretions.
Dan, 29, told The Sun: ‘There have been times where if it were the other way round, I would have left.
‘I would have gone, so I’ve said to her “I wouldn’t blame you if you left me”. I’ve said that to Jac.’
He added: ‘I’ve said if it was the other way around I’d be gone, it’s not like I’ve been brushing off any mistakes that I’ve made.’
Dan and Jacqueline tied the knot in 2017, but have since been plagued by cheating rumours.
While in the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle, Myles Stephenson reportedly told Jacqueline that his ex Gabby Allen had a fling with Dan in the past.
After this, Dan’s Celebrity Big Brother housemate Chloe Ayling alleged that she and Natalie Nunn had a threesome with the reality star on a drunken night out, and reports claimed that Dan had kissed Love Island’s Alexandra Cane on a night out last March.
At the time, the dad-of-three denied the allegations to the Mirror: ‘Everyone’s trying to drag us down. We are going to be fine.’
He also accused Ayling of having ‘no morals’ and said he would be seeking legal advice, while reps for both Cane and Obsorne denied those cheating reports.
However, Dan has now admitted to cheating on Jacqueline, although did not clarify when or with who.
The star suggested he was a ‘different person’ when he denied the cheating allegations despite them being true, but claimed the former EastEnders actress has forgiven him.
Dan even wants another baby with the queen of the jungle, and wants to renew their vows as incidents since their 2017 wedding have ‘tarnished’ their big day.
The pair met in 2013 at an awards ceremony – as UK telly stars are one to do – while Dan was expecting a baby with his ex Megan Tomlin.
After Dan went on a date with Ferne McCann, Jacqueline tweeted in November 2013: ‘Guys leave @DannyO alone, he’s single and can do what he wants.’
However, by summer 2014, the stars had confirmed they were dating and splashed PDA all over their Instagram stories – and in August, they confirmed they were expecting their first child together.
Their daughter Ella was born in February 2015, and four months later, Dan and Jacqueline announced they were engaged.
In January 2018, Jacqueline confirmed she was pregnant with her and Dan’s second child.
However, in May, it was reported that the couple had split, with Dan moving out of their family home.
Jacqueline wrote: ‘No one needs to comment and get involved in things they don’t know anything about. Daniel and I are dealing with things privately as a team, there is always 2 sides to every story. Stop with the nasty comments, no one deserves them. Trust me ❤️ privacy please x.’
The split came after pictures of Dan and former Love Island star Gabby Allen looking cosy on a yacht emerged.
The pair were at a celebrity boot camp in Marbella alongside stars including Calum Best and Stephanie Davis, but were pictured enjoying some alone time on deck.
Dan denied a fling, tweeting: ‘Whenever a relationship goes through tough times etc.. why is it always the man that gets stick..? When in ‘public eye’, worst part is, the people trying to give me stick etc are people that DO NOT KNOW ME, do not know the situation.. so can please p*** off…. appreciated [sic].
‘Also… to the media making their usual crap up 😴.. It had absolutely nothing to do with me working away, going away anywhere or anything to do with me having a laugh with friends on a boat… Suppose it makes an interesting read for the viewers though eh.’
However, he later told the Daily Star Sunday that he left Jacqueline because they were unhappy
Jacqueline gave birth to their daughter Mia the following month, with Dan nearly missing the birth as he was on a stag do in Las Vegas.
But in October, the couple had reunited, with Jacqueline saying they were ‘stronger than ever’.
