Ralf Little, 41, has taken to Instagram to share some “bad news” from the set of Death in Paradise on the Caribbean island of Guadeloupe. The DI Neville Parker actor revealed that an abandoned puppy had been found on the street and brought into the BBC series’ production office.
It comes after Ralf previously rescued another little dog he found on the set while filming series 10 of the drama earlier this year.
The former Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps star shared a video of himself meeting the puppy for the first time in view of his 78,000 followers this afternoon.
He explained in the clip: “I have bad news.
“I’m just walking into the production office because I got word that another little puppy has been picked up off the street.
“Where is she? Oh no…”
Upon seeing the adorable puppy in a plastic box behind-the-scenes, Ralf gushed: “Aww!
“Hello sweetheart! Aww hello little one,” the star exclaimed as the puppy affectionately licked his hand.
“Aww right, well, I’m going to need a bigger house,” the actor admitted, hinting he was considering taking the puppy home.
Ralf captioned the post: “Oh my God. My heart has melted,” alongside a crying emoji.
Ralf’s co-star Josephine Jobert was also left feeling overwhelmed over the puppy’s appearance in the office.
The actress, who plays DS Florence Cassell, said in view of her 88,000 Instagram followers: “We have a serious issue here.
“There is a new puppy that showed up at the office.

Josephine then shared another video of herself cuddling the puppy.
Ralf previously shared a video of his long journey to rescuing abandoned street puppy Dora.
The actor said his new pet pooch ran onto the set in Guadeloupe while he was filming last year and decided to adopt her to save her from going into a shelter.
Ralf explained that due to Covid restrictions at the time, he and his wife-to-be Lindsey Ferrentino, who lives in New York, “couldn’t go [and] get her” straight away.
Setting up a new plan, they decided to fly Dora to the French side of Saint Martin, where a rescue team picked her up and took her to a vet for checks before flying her into Miami.
The couple then faced an issue after realising they had gone to the wrong place to collect their dog.
After being directed to the correct place, they were soon reunited with Dora, who seemed very pleased to see them.
