Elton John, Rolling Stones Make Forbes List Of Highest-Paid Celebrities

English classic rock icon Elton John has been ranked 14th in this year’s Forbes Celebrity 100 list.

He made $81 million over the past year, mainly from his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour.

With the pandemic postponing his North American tour dates in April, the Rocket Man will have to wait to complete his 300-show, five-continent farewell tour.

In April, the legendary musician’s Elton John AIDS Foundation announced a $1 million emergency fund to help those with HIV maintain their care amid Covid-19.

With gross revenue of $59 million, The Rolling Stones are ranked at No. 32 on the list of highest-paid celebrities.

Other classic rock acts to make the list include Phil Collins (No. 64, $45 million); The Eagles (No. 75, $41 million); Metallica (No. 78, $40.5 million); Bon Jovi and U2 (both tied at No. 87 earning $38 million each); Paul McCartney (No. 91, $37 million); and KISS (No. 95, $36.5 million).
