Former Emmerdale stars Chelsea Halfpenny and James Baxter have officially become parents as they welcomed their first baby together.

The 31-year-old shared the sensational news on Instagram yesterday, but her fiance’s announcement seemingly stole the show as it made fans desperately confused.

Chelsea shared a sweet snap of her newborn’s tiny feet sticking out from underneath a blanket, captioning the snap: “The best thing that’s ever happened to us arrived a couple of weeks ago, and she’s absolutely class. The little love of our lives!”

And, showcasing their polar opposite personalities, James shared the same snap on his Instagram story, but wrote: “Welcome to the world – Cream Knuckleberry Baxter.

“May you eat, sleep and s**t with such ferocity your whole life! We love you.”
