Eric Clapton Shares Jeff Beck Collaboration 'Moon River'

Music legend Eric Clapton is releasing new recordings from Bushbranch/Surfdog Records.

“Moon River,” recorded not long before Jeff Beck‘s tragic passing, was shared digitally across all streaming platforms on Friday.

This release comes ahead of a series of Jeff Beck tribute shows at Royal Albert Hall in London.

After Beck’s passing, Clapton made the decision to couple this new recording of “Moon River” on new song, “How Could We Know,” featuring Judith Hill, Simon Climie, and Daniel Santiago.

The double A-side 7-inch vinyl, consisting of “Moon River” and “How Could We Know” will be released on July 14. Go to to pre-order.

This new release comes ahead of Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival, to be held in Los Angeles in September.
