It’s a Fyre sale.
Ghoulish entrepreneurs who claim to have official merchandise from the catastrophic Fyre Festival are putting the gear on sale on Monday.
An email went out Monday morning advertising a pop-up shop, saying “come celebrate and relive the epic event from 6-9pm just off Union Square on 873 Broadway (18th and Broadway), 6th floor.”
It added, “PS: It’s amazing what you can find at auction these days!”
The festival became an online obsession in April 2017 after what was billed as a luxurious model-rich extravaganza turned into a hellish ordeal for guests.
The festival’s organizer, Billy McFarland, is awaiting sentencing on fraud charges related to the event.
Fyre Festival merchandise began showing up on eBay last May, with caps, T-shirts and wristband passes going on sale for up to $300.
