The Global Citizen Festival has announced the lineup of artists set to perform at the annual event when it returns to New York City’s Central Park on September 28.
The headliners include Queen + Adam Lambert, Pharrell Williams and Alicia Keys.
“Like Live Aid in 1985, we believe this concert will be a milestone,” said Brian May, the lead guitarist of Queen.
The Global Citizen Festival brings together top artists, world leaders, and activists to take action to end poverty.
Tickets are free for “Global Citizens who take a series of actions to create lasting change around the world,” the organizers said on their website.
To get the tickets, fans will have to download the Global Citizen app and take designated actions to earn Festival Points.
Those who earn enough points will become eligible to be entered in a random drawing for tickets.
