Cooper Hefner and wife Scarlett Byrne have welcomed their first child together!
The 29-year-old Harry Potter actress, who played Pansy Parkinson in three of the films, gave birth to a baby girl on Monday (August 24) at 5:23pm.
“At 5:23pm this afternoon Scarlett and I welcomed our daughter Betsy Rose Hefner into the world. We are overwhelmed with gratitude, love and joy,” Cooper wrote on his Instagram account along with the first photos of the newborn.
Cooper told E! News that the baby girl weighed in at 6 pounds, 5 ounces. He also said that Betsy was named after his grandmother, Betsy Aldridge-Conrad, who passed away in July 2020.
“My grandmother meant the world to both Scarlett and I,” he said.
Cooper and Scarlett have been together for more than six years and they got engaged in 2015.
For several years, Cooper worked for his late father Hugh Hefner‘s Playboy empire, but he left in 2019 to start his own media company. He put a pause on those plans last year to enlist in the U.S. Air Force and now he’s planning a run for the California Senate in its 30th district.
