Strictly Come Dancing runner-up Helen Skelton, 39, shares three children with her estranged husband Richie Myler, 32: Ernie, seven, Louis, five, and one-year-old Elsie. Following the end of their marriage earlier this year, Helen has been navigating life as a single mother while also juggling her work commitments.
In an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk in July, Helen opened up about how she manages with three little ones.
She joked: “Somebody said to me, one is like having a baby, two is like having a farm and three is like having a zoo, and I know what they mean!”
When asked whether she had noticed a big change after the birth of her third child, Helen exclaimed: “Oh yeah! It’s good though.
“I wouldn’t have it any other way. I am very lucky that my boys love their little sister.”
As for how she manages to balance work and family life while also continuing to be the lovable person that the public fell in love with on Strictly, the presenter continued: “I think that when you are blessed with a family that you like spending time with and you are blessed with a job that you enjoy and find interesting, you just, I’m no different to any working mum.
“I think the trick is probably having lists everywhere and not feeling guilty about stuff.
“But it would be wrong of me to even answer that question because everyone’s life is different and I never want to be that person who is like, ‘This is how you do it,’ because I don’t get it right most of the time.
“I think you just try your best and that’s all anyone can do.”

She admitted that her life is “definitely hands-on” and that she “loves the school holidays” because it means she doesn’t have to get the children “to school on time for 9am, which is a bit of a crazy feat”.
In a separate interview, Helen admitted that she does “struggle” to get some time to herself.
Appearing on Lorraine in October, Helen told the Scottish host: “Of course I struggle.
“I lump work into ‘me time’. Not everyone does Strictly for their work.

“For me, lower the standards. My kids don’t always go to school in fully ironed school uniforms sometimes. Delegate!”
Earlier this month, Helen made it to the final of Strictly Come Dancing alongside her professional partner Gorka Marquez.
The couple lost out to wildlife cameraman Hamza Yassin who lifted the coveted Glitterball trophy alongside his partner Jowita Przystał.
Following the end of the competition, Helen thanked Gorka for their close friendship.
She penned on Instagram: “The man of the hour for me is Mr @gorka_marquez.
“I will be forever proud of how hard we worked, how we carried ourselves and how far we went. For me the reaction in that room said everything we didn’t need to.
“I will be forever grateful for your friendship and how you have kept my counsel. We didn’t take the ball but we did blow the roof off that place and that is a feeling I will NEVER forget.”
