Netflix has renewed its original series The Circle for two more seasons, the first of which is slated to be released in April 2021. According to Oprah Daily, Netflix will release the first four episodes of the new season on April 14, 2021, “with the rest of the 13 episodes spread out over the course of three more weeks every Wednesday.” The finale will be available for streaming on May 5, 2021.
If you are unfamiliar with the show, it’s pegged as a social experiment in which a few people are chosen to live in their own, fully furnished apartments. They communicate with each other using text-based chat, but are unable to hear or see one another, outside of the photos they are permitted to upload to their profiles. So, what’s the catch, exactly? Since these people aren’t speaking or using video to communicate, there are some who may choose to catfish. As the days go on, the members of The Circle chat with one another, get to know each other, play competitive games, and vote on who is the most likable. The top voted Circle members become the influencers, and choose who to “block.” The blocked person gets sent home. Netflix has chosen eight new people to join The Circle, and compete for the grand prize of $100,000. And one of those people is Chloe Veitch, who may look very familiar to you.
Chloe Veitch is no stranger to reality television
Chloe Veitch first popped onto the scene in a different Netflix show — one that also proved wildly popular in 2020 – Too Hot to Handle. She was the very first person introduced – a then-21-year-old model from Essex, England, who had previously won Top Model UK, according to Elle. Her intro on the show pretty much tells you everything you need to know about her. “I’m quite ditzy as well, so you’ve just got to be really patient with me, ’cause I’m not the brightest spark, um, in the book,” she said.
Chloe didn’t leave Too Hot to Handle with a boyfriend, but she did break the rules a couple of times. The purpose of that show is to abstain from kissing, or doing anything sexual in nature, despite living at a resort with several other ridiculously good-looking people. Each time temptation wins, money is deducted from the $100,000 grand prize. Chloe lost $3000 in episode three with Kori Sampson, and again in episode five with Bryce Hirschberg — both times for kissing. However, she did make it to the finale and there was money left in the pot, so she took home $7,500, according to TVLine. She’s obviously hoping to follow in the footsteps of The Circle’s season one winner, Joey Sasso, and score the grand prize this time.
