Judge Issues Arrest Warrant for 6ix9ine Over Alleged Mall Altercation

An arrest warrant has been issued for the rapper after he allegedly choked a 16-year-old at the Galleria Mall.

6ix9ine a.k.a. Tekashi69 is facing arrest over an alleged altercation at a mall in Texas earlier this year. There is a warrant out for the 22 year old’s arrest over an incident that occurred in Houston in January, when he allegedly choked a 16-year-old at the Galleria Mall.

According to TMZ, Santiago Albarran spotted the rapper at the mall and started to record him on his phone. Tekashi69 allegedly confronted Albarran and told him to erase the video and then grabbed Albarran’s neck while his bodyguards surrounded him.

Albarran reportedly erased the video, but a bystander posted their own recording of the incident online. Albarran’s family members who reportedly witnessed the alleged altercation then filed a report with local police officials.

News of the arrest warrant comes weeks after it was reported the hip hop star’s entourage was involved in an altercation with rapper Casanova’s crew following the Adrien Broner boxing match at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn in April.

Someone reportedly fired a gun during the alleged scuffle and police have since made an arrest. Tekashi69 has reportedly been banned from performing at the Soulfrito Fest 2018 at the venue next month over the incident.
