Handbags and accessories from Kate Spade’s Frances Valentine line have been selling out in wake of the fashion designer’s suicide.
Dozens of items are listed as out of stock on the affordable line’s website, francesvalentine.com, including all five colors of the whimsical $195 Honeypot Basket and the $395 Medium June Hobo, which comes in three colors.
Most of the accessories peddled on the site — such as jewelry, cosmetic bags, leather wallets and wine bags — are also sold out.
They include $35 Turquoise Filigree earrings, a Travel Cosmetic Bag for $125 and Oberon Sunglasses priced at $145.
Spade hanged herself in her Park Avenue apartment Tuesday amid marital troubles with her husband Andrew, who wanted a divorce. She was 55.
The couple founded the iconic colorful handbag label Kate Spade in 1993. They sold the majority of their empire to Neiman Marcus six years later for $34 million and then the rest in 2006 for another $59 million.
In 2015, the Spades launched Frances Valentine, which also sells shoes.
