Katy Perry denied that Dr. Luke raped her in a recently unsealed deposition from the producer’s 2017 lawsuit against Kesha, a report said.
“No,” Perry replied when asked if the music producer raped her, according to Us Weekly. “Absolutely not,” she added when asked if he “sexually assaulted her.”
Dr. Luke’s lawyers claim Kesha lied in a text to Lady Gaga when she said Dr. Luke — real name Lukasz Gottwald — raped Perry, in an apparent attempt to boost her own sex-assault claims.
When asked in court if the statement that Kesha made about her and Dr. Luke was false, Perry replied, “Yes, ma’am.”
