Kourtney Kardashian has opened up in a new interview about abstaining from sex with fiancé Travis Barker following a body cleanse in a bid to clear toxicity from her body.
The 42 year old refrained from getting physical with drummer Travis she revealed after following the Ayurvedic detox which encourages a sex ban and confessed that she ended up benefitting greatly from the break.
“Oh my God, it was crazy,” Kourtney told Bustle.
“But it actually made everything better. Like, if you can’t have caffeine, when you have your first matcha, it’s so good.”
The Keeping up with the Kardashians star has been candid before about her bedroom antics with Travis, speaking up in a post published in January about “exploring sex fetishes” to the shock of her fans.
Kourtney made her confessions known on the Instagram page of her company Poosh as she shared her most intimate details with followers on International Fetish Day
"Think kink, Poosh your sex game to the next level,” the caption read.
The reality star has been upfront about her eager attraction to fiancé Travis and vice versa, with the pair frequently posting pics of their racy PDA on their individual Instagram accounts while stating their love for each other to followers.
Recently, rocker Travis received some ridicule after sharing a snap of himself kissing fiancée Kourtney passionately as he captioned: “I Would Die for you”, to which the TV personality replied: “You, I would die for you”.
Some fans in the comment section were quick to call out the loved-up pair for their remarks following the committed post.
“How embarrassing," one person wrote, as another follower said, "Calm down, You have kids."
A third added: "That's a little drastic."
Despite being open about certain aspects of her relationship with Travis in her most recent interview, Kourtney — who is due to appear with her family in the new Kardashian series — still has limits on what she wishes to reveal to the public about her life.
“I think probably everyone's kind of on the same page now,” Kourtney said of the upcoming series.
“Everybody has their own boundaries,” mum and manager Kris Jenner added in the interview as she discussed the different approach the show will take in spotlighting the Kardashian-Jenner family.
“And I think that the discussion was we just have to learn how to respect those boundaries.”
