Lauren Goodger’s jailbird ‘boyfriend’ released from prison after nine years

Lauren Goodger ‘s jailbird beau is back on the outside world.

Joey Morrisson was sentenced to 16 years in prison for a string of violent offences, including kidnapping, possession of a firearm and actual bodily harm.

But he could be about to be reunited with the former TOWIE star after walking from jail after just nine years.

In pictures posted on a private social media account, Morrisson poses up with his sister Charlotte for a selfie.

And according to the Daily Mail , she captioned the snap: "Words can’t explain the feeling of my brother home after 9 years… love you always my joey."

The newspaper reports that the post was liked by TOWIE’s Amber Dowding and Hollyoaks star Chelsee Healey.

However, at this stage it is unknown if Morrisson has been released for good or is just temporarily out of prison.

Despite being behind bars, he sparked up a romance with Lauren.

It fizzled out after 15 months, in September last year, however, she’s since confessed they’re back in touch.

And just last month, she showed off her brand new personalised ‘JOEY’ numberplates.

The 31-year-old was seen with the plates on her Mercedes as she visited a tanning salon in Essex.

Lauren was dating Morrisson, who was jailed in 2008 for his part in an armed robbery, until they split after having a furious row in jail.

She continued to visit Joey in prison despite ending their romantic relationship, and she’s also remained close to his family.

And now the new plates – that could have cost up to £499 from the DVLA – hint that their romance is back on as details of their secret business are exposed.

According to new! magazine, the pair are listed under "people with significant control" for a company called LJM Management and have secretly been in business for over a year.

Joey’s younger sister Charlotte – who is close friends with Lauren – is also listed as a director of the company, the mag claims.

The company’s name suggests they might be going into celebrity management – but a source said it’s more likely that Joey is planning to manage Lauren’s career when he’s released from prison.

"Lauren’s been telling pals for ages she thinks Joey would be the ideal person to oversee her career because he motivates and understands her," a source told the mag.

"He’s the one person she turns to for advice."

Mirror Online has contacted Lauren’s representatives for comment.
