Love Island’s Connor Durman shares regret over taking ‘recreational drugs’ after photo emerges

Love Island’sConnor Durman has apologised for using “recreational drugs” in the past, after a photo of him posing next to a white substance has emerged.

The 25 year old, who is dating Rochelle Humes’ sister Sophie Piper, has shared his “regret” over taking the “recreational drugs” while in Australia last year, when the photo is understood to have been taken.

In the photograph, which was obtained by The Sun, Connor is shirtless as he leans on a table where lines of the white substance can be seen in front of him.

It’s understood the snap was taken at a house party more than a year before he headed into the Love Island villa.

Connor has since shared his regret over his “recreational” drug use as his rep told the publication: “Connor was living in Australia last year and recreational drugs were sadly used.

“One of the reasons he left Australia and came back to the UK to be with his family is because he realised his life was spiralling out of control.

“He regrets his past and is now moving forward with his life. He is sorry.”

Since moving back from Down Under, Connor entered the Love Island villa in January and set his sights on Rochelle Humes’ stunning younger sister, Sophie, 21.

The pair had their ups and downs in the villa, but their time was sadly cut short as Connor was dumped after three weeks.

Connor and Sophie were later reunited when the Essex lass was also dumped from the villa and have continued to see each other in the outside world.

Sophie has since opened up to OK! online about her romance with Connor, revealing the pair are now exclusively dating.

She told us: “Things are going well with Connor, I feel like we're just sort of dating each other.”

While she admitted they haven't quite said the L word or even labelled their relationship as "boyfriend or girlfriend," she said they're having a great time getting to know each other in an exclusive capacity.

She added: “We're not boyfriend or girlfriend yet but I feel like we are dating each other.

“Just enjoying getting to know each other still because obviously we only knew each other for two weeks in there.

“[But] I think it’s exclusive, we’re just seeing each other.”

Since leaving the villa, the couple have been spending loads of time together, including Valentine's Day as they went on a romantic trip to the spa.

“On the weekend we spent Valentine’s together – a nice spa. I went to Brighton to meet his friends as well. They literally all grew up in the same area, so it was really daunting. But it was all really nice," she said.
