Love Island’s Tommy Fury flaunts toned physique as he prepares for return to boxing ring

Love Island star Tommy Fury flaunted his physique as he prepares to return to the boxing ring this month.

Molly-Mae Hague’s boyfriend, who took a break from the sport to appear on Love Island this summer, confirmed his return which is set to take place on December 21.

Taking to Instagram, the 20-year-old proved that he’s in the best shape possible as he shared a snap of himself training.

Showing off his body, the reality TV star left his fans swooning as he captioned the image: “20 day Countdown….”

Tommy confirmed his return to the sport after being out of boxing since March, when he knocked out Callum Ide in Leicester.

An opponent has not yet been named, but Tommy did tease his fight on social media.

In a clip of himself putting his boxing gloves on while preparing in the ring, Tommy wrote: “Are you ready 21.12.19…..”

Meanwhile, the promoter of the fight, Frank Warren, opened up on Tommy’s brief break from the ring.

"I am delighted to welcome Tommy back into the fold on our huge end-of-year show at the Copper Box," said promoter Frank Warren.

"Tommy is a young man so taking a little bit of time out to pursue a television experience will have done him no harm at all and we always felt certain that he would be back in the ring sooner rather than later.

"In this day and age it is important for boxers to project their personalities to the public and Tommy is now one of the best known young fighters in the business.

"Now he has got to turn his mind back to what he does best and that is boxing. I am sure his new army of fans will be supporting him every step of the way."
