The Premier League season is only two weeks in, but there are already some telling signs about the big six and the race to finish in the top four.

Manchester United have suffered the worst start of last year’s top four, slipping up against Brighton with turmoil surrounding Jose Mourinho.

Chelsea’s promising start under new manager Maurizio Sarri suggests they could be best placed to challenge United, Tottenham and Liverpool to surely join Manchester City inside the top four.

Many are tipping Jurgen Klopp’s side to push the champions this season, though even if Pep Guardiola’s side fail to defend their title, a top four place is just about assured.
