One way Meghan Markle is copying Kate for royal wedding

Meghan Markle is taking a leaf out of her future sister-in-law Kate Middleton’s book on her wedding day on May 19.

The bride-to-be is reportedly doing her own make-up for the big day, just like the Duchess of Cambridge, according to The Express .

Kate famously created her own bridal look for her wedding on April 29, 2011, with some "artistry assistance" from Bobbi Brown Cosmetics make-up artist Hannah Martin .

An insider exclusively told The Express that Meghan has "two friends doing it for her from America. They’re not professionals – just close friends of hers.

“They are coming to stay at Windsor Castle ahead of the wedding, where they will be put up in the staff accommodation.”

It’s a nice gesture to include her best friends after Meghan decided not to have a maid of honour or any adult bridesmaids.

The former actress usually goes for quite a natural day-to-day look whenever we see her at public engagements, with a smokier eye and highlighter for evening events.

Her former make-up artist Lydia Sellers , while she appeared on Suits, believes Meghan will go for a similar look on the day.

"Natural, dewy-looking skin, with her freckles peeking through, a sheer pink lip and a daytime smoky eye with beautiful volume in her lashes," she told People magazine .

As for her wedding hair, we think Meghan will rock a polished version of her signature ‘messy bun’ that she’s become renowned for.

The designer behind Meghan’s wedding dress still remains a secret, but Ralph & Russo are the hot favourites. They appeared to give away a clue on Twitter after some of their team were pictured touring the Royal School of Needlework – the company behind the embroidery for Kate’s wedding dress.

They were also the duo behind Meghan’s glamorous gown for her official engagement photos with Prince Harry, which reportedly cost £56,000.

The happy couple will marry at St George’s Chapel on May 19.
