Phillip Schofield called ‘obnoxious, horrible man’ by fellow TV star amid Holly feud reports

Phillip Schofield has been branded an "obnoxious, horrible man" by fellow TV star Kim Woodburn.

Kim's remarks on the TV presenter come amid reports that he has had a falling out with fellow This Morning host Holly Willoughby.

It's been claimed that the co-hosts who were once famed for their close friendship, are "barely speaking" off-camera at the moment and have "become more distant" in recent weeks.

Now Kim, 81, has waded into the feud, telling GB News that Phillip is an "obnoxious, horrible man" and that she doesn't know how he still has a career as a TV presenter.

Discussing her dislike of Phil, Kim told the news channel: "I have had so many run-ins. He is an obnoxious, horrible man and I don't know why he's still on television.

"I went on his show and he insulted me, he was rude, he was horrible. He was laughing at me – he was absolutely sniggering at me."

Kim then recalled how she had wanted to watch a friend perform on Dancing On Ice, but Phil did not want her in the audience.

She said: "I couldn't get in to see my friend skating recently. He said, 'Would you come on the night?' I said, 'Certainly I will'.

"And then it turned out that Phillip did not want me on the show because he would go among the audience and chat, and if I was in the front row, he thought I might say something to him.

"I wouldn't – it was my friend's show. But that's how hard it's got. And that's how powerful he is."

She finished: "He should not be on television. He is a cruel, brutal, little man and he's full of himself."

OK! has contacted Phillip's representatives for comment.

Phillip appeared to confirm reports of a falling out with Holly when he released a surprise statement on Thursday evening, which is understood to have been a bid to salvage their friendship.

In the statement, released to The Sun, Phillip said: "As I have said before, Holly is my rock. We’re the best of friends — as always, she is an incredible support on screen, behind the scenes and on the phone.

"Holly has always been there for me, through thick and thin. And I’ve been there for her. The last few weeks haven’t been easy for either of us.

"And of course Holly has herself been ill with shingles. Whatever happens, we still have each other to count on."
