Rebel Wilson is keeping motivated as she went on a hike to shake off a ‘bad day’.
The actress, who has lost 40 pounds since starting her ‘year of health’ after turning 40, told fans that getting back to nature helped to lift her mood.
On Instagram Rebel shared a powerful photo of herself looking determined mid-hike, wearing a black crop top and leggings.
She also had her headphones on to listen to her chosen audiobooks to help her stay focused on the journey.
The Pitch Perfect star got honest in the Instagram caption about how she was feeling and the benefit of physical exercise.
She wrote: ‘Started off having a bad day but took myself on a giant walk, listening to some motivational podcasts & audiobooks (currently @antmiddleton The Fear Bubble) out in gorgeous nature…drank water…and you know what feel soooo much better now.
‘We all have tough days but take a beat, take a nap and then get back out there and continue to crush.’
It makes sense that she would opt for SAS: Who Dares Wins star Ant’s offering as the pair are teaming up to backpack across Mexico for a new episode of Sky’s Straight Talking.
The actress vowed not to go ‘too skinny’ in her bid to lose weight.
Speaking on Drew Barrymore’s chat show Rebel, who confessed to trying various fads and diets, explained that her sweet tooth was having a negative impact on her health and decided to try ‘a really holistic approach this time’.
‘I love my curves and stuff, I don’t think I’ll ever go too skinny but I feel so much healthier.
‘And I don’t know whether it’s a thing with ladies when you turn 40, I feel like I really have come into my own now and not just with health but with my career.’
