Xherdan Shaqiri has revealed he can’t say anything on his future "right now" after he was asked about a potential transfer to Liverpool.
The 26-year-old is currently on international duty with Switzerland as they prepare for this summer’s World Cup in Russia.
The former Bayern Munich and Inter Milan star suffered relegation with Stoke this season and will likely be looking for a move away from The Potters.
Shaqiri represents an eye-catching prospect for most Premier League clubs, especially given his price.
Stoke’s relegation triggered a clause in the attacking midfielder’s contract meaning he is now available for just £12million – and Liverpool are currently the favourites for his signature.
When asked by Switzerland publication Blick what he thought on Liverpool’s stadium, he replied: "The Anfield stadium is great, definitely."
Shaqiri was then further pushed for an answer on a possible transfer to Liverpool and he answered: "I can’t tell you anything right now, I think my agents take care of my future. I’m focusing on the national team right now."
Both Southampton and Spurs have also been linked with a move for the Stoke man.
