Loose Women star Stacey Solomon has candidly admitted that she and boyfriend Joe Swash are “not bothered” about getting married.
Stacey, 30, and Joe, 37, have been inundated with questions on when he is going to pop the question since the couple welcomed four month old son Rex earlier this year.
She has now lifted the lid on the couple’s plans for the future and revealed they’re “not bothered” about getting married, but Stacey would like an engagement ring.
In an exclusive chat with new! magazine, Stacey said: “I want an engagement ring, but I’m not bothered about getting married – neither of us are!
“I have those weird preset ideas that I should get married and have a big white dress, but it’s not the be-all and end-all.”
She added: “We have our family, we’re together, we’re practically married in our opinion. That piece of paper for us isn’t something we feel we need right now.”
The Loose Women star also spoke about their future plans for more children, too. When asked if she would try again for a little girl, the star said: “No. Oh my God, I would be having kids for decades!
“I wouldn’t be up for gender selection because we’ve got our four children between us and that is a huge privilege.
“I wouldn’t have another baby to have a different gender. If we were going to have more children it would be for other reasons.”

As well as having baby Rex, Stacey is also mum to Zachary, 11, and Leighton, eight, who she has from previous relationships, while Joe has son Harry, 12, from a previous relationship, too.
When asked if Joe wants more children, Stacey said: “Yeah, he keeps going on about it. And I’m like: ‘Have you seen the state of my vagina?’ Every time he brings it up I look at him like I want to kill him.
“It’s far too fresh for me – give me seven years! All of any children are at really big stages in their lives, so I want to make sure I have enough time to be a good parent to them.”
Stacey gave birth to Rex in May after going into labour with her son early, but she said Rex’s birth “wasn’t complicated”.
She explained: “As far as births go, it wasn’t complicated. It was as smooth as it could have been. But god it’s horrible. I don’t love it. This time I felt euphoric afterwards, but when it’s happening it feels like I’m going to die.
“I felt like: ‘This is it, this is the end.’ And then he came out.”
This comes after Stacey candidly admitted she doesn’t feel like a confident mum to baby Rex.
Speaking to OK! magazine , Stacey admitted: “I’m questioning everything this time round. Motherhood is such a huge responsibility. I don’t really think I’m a confident mum.
“I’m a confident person but I certainly don’t think I know everything.
“In fact, I’ve used social media as my Bible – I’ve been asking advice from other people and seeking out accounts to get help on breastfeeding.
“I feel like I forgot everything, I’d lie next to Rex’s cot and be like: 'Is that normal, how’s his breathing?’”
