Strictly’s Janette Manrara, 38, has marked the end of Strictly Come Dancing Live with a heartfelt tribute to the cast and a huge thank you to the legions of fans who came out to watch. The professional dancer shared the emotional message with her 502,000 Instagram followers.

She said alongside a photograph of a packed O2 Arena: “What a ride. Still pinching myself that Strictly Come Dancing Live has happened!

“Thank you to every single one of you that came out to support dancing.

“I looked out into the audience every single day and savoured the fact that arenas were selling to support a dance show.

“Some of the biggest names in showbiz played our venues in the past, and here we are, dancers and fans of dance in the same places.

“It’s truly magical and makes my heart sing.

“Keep supporting live entertainment, keep supporting the arts, and as always…’keeeeeeeeep dancing’!” (sic)

Janette also posted a clip of the Strictly cast dancing and cheering to La Vida Es Un Carnaval, the song former winners Kelvin Fletcher and Oti Mabuse performed their iconic Samba to.

The stars, including Luba Mushtuk, Katya Jones and Nancy Xu jumped and clapped as Giovanni Pernice and Nikita Kuzmin danced topless on stage.
