At first glance it looks as though Willian’s post on his Instagram Story after Chelsea beat Manchester United was pretty standard stuff.
But then you look at it a bit closer.
The Brazilian international appeared as a stoppage time substitute for matchwinner Eden Hazard as the Blues edged out United 1-0 at Wembley on Saturday, in the latest example of Antonio Conte overlooking the energetic wide-man for the biggest matches.
There have been several reports that Willian is unhappy with his lack of game-time at Stamford Bridge, and suggestions that he could reunite with his former boss Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford over the summer.
And this might just add fuel to that particular fire.
Because on his Instagram Story, Willian’s picture of Chelsea’s players celebrating on the pitch after the match is accompanied by some – perhaps – strategically placed trophy emojis completely covering Conte to the right of the picture, almost suggesting he isn’t there.
A coincidence? Maybe.
But when you look at where he’s put the other trophies – two at the top and one at the bottom – those ones do certainly seem to have been placed there deliberately.
As reported by the Manchester Evening News , Willian failed to stop for reporters in the mixed zone after the match, but when asked about Conte in a recent interview with ESPN Brasil, he said: "Oh boy! Do you really want me to tell you?
"Let’s save that one for the next interview."
Would Willian be a good signing for Manchester United?
