Zara Tindall stuns in purple outfit as she cuddles up to husband Mike at Cheltenham

Zara Tindall showed off her royal style as she cuddled up to her husband Mike, 43, during day one of the Cheltenham Festival on Tuesday 15 March.

The 40 year old wowed in a plunge coloured midi-coat that featured wide sleeves, chunky buttons down the front, and a belt to cinch in her waist.

Zara, who spent Valentine's Day with Mike in Rome, toted her belongings in a matching handbag and wore an eye-catching matching fascinator atop her chic blonde bun.

The rest of the mother-of-three's look, which also consisted of a stunning coat of make-up, was completed with tailored black ankle-grazing trousers and black stiletto heels.

Meanwhile, Mike put on a dapper display for the occasion, wearing a brown tartan blazer atop a navy tie and white shirt.

He added a baker boy style hat to his look and simple black trousers and suede charcoal grey trousers.

The pair looked very much loved-up as Zara was pictured leaning her head lovingly on Mike's shoulder while ensuring her arm was wrapped around his.

The couple married in Edinburgh in July 2011 and share three children; Mia, eight, Lena, three and Lucas, who is one in March.

They rarely share photos of themselves together on social media. However, they delighted fans by uploading an image of them celebrating Valentine's Day in Italy last month.

Former rugby player Mike posted a sweet snap of the couple on Instagram as they enjoyed a romantic dinner ahead of the Six Nations match between England and Italy on Sunday 13 February.

Back in January, Mike took to his Instagram account to share a snap of Zara with their son, Lucas.

The couple had enjoyed an evening with their baby boy at Cotswold Farm Park.

He wrote: "Lovely evening wandering around @cotswoldfarmpark last night. Worth a visit if you're close by!!"

Following the birth of Lucas in March 2021, the royal couple held a joint christening for their son alongside his cousin, August, the son of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank.

The royal family, including Zara's grandmother, The Queen, gathered on Sunday 21 November at All Saints Chapel in Great Windsor Park, Berkshire, to witness the ceremony.

At the time, The Queen had pulled out of most public events due to the coronavirus pandemic and her own health concerns, but there was no stopping her from attending her great-grandchildren's christening.
