‘No no don’t say that. Keep your head up Zayn,’ another urged.
A confused follower asked: ‘Wtf are you talking about? You’re amazing & I love you.’
The bizarre comment comes after the Dusk Til Dawn singer was surrounded by rumours that he’d split from his girlfriend Gigi Hadid.
According to an insider, the pair – who first started dating back in 2015 – believed the space was best for their romance.
‘Both been really focused on themselves and their separate careers,’ the insider told E! News with Zayn ‘in the studio recording new music and pushing out his new album’.
Gigi, 23, was also said to be ‘focusing a lot of time on herself’.
However, soon after speculation spread, the 26-year-old tweeted Gigi to say: ‘Love you’, leading people to believe that the romance wasn’t really over.
Basically, we’re all just very confused.
Meanwhile, One Direction co-star Louis Tomlinson recently spoke out about how his friendship with the singer ‘never really got better’ after Zayn was a no show at Louis’ first X Factor performance following the death of his mother in 2016.
Fellow bandmates Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Niall Horan all attended the performance to show their support, while Zayn failed to turn up despite, allegedly, stating he would.
Speaking about the incident, Louis explains how his friendship with Zayn hasn’t recovered since.
In an interview with The Sun, he said: ‘Truthfully it never really got better.
‘I had a couple of calls with him after I lost my mum and all the boys had agreed to come to that performance and he didn’t show so that really bugged me.’
