Cleaning fanatic shows how to get rid of foul tupperware stains in under a minute – and there’s no scrubbing

LET'S face it. We're all guilty of chucking away some perfectly fine tupperware simply because we can't get rid of the stubborn oily stains left behind.

No matter how much you scrub them, some meals tend to leave a permanent coating, but we've finally found a way to get them squeaky clean again.

A TikTok user demonstrated a super quick and easy hack that eliminates food stains like nothing else.

And while you might expect vigorous scrubbing and hours of soaking, you actually only need a couple of minutes – and requires no effort whatsoever.

The secret? Kitchen roll. But it's not used how you'd expect – by wiping the inside clean – as you just pop it in the container, close the lid and let it get to work.

Detailing the method, the user, known as Adi Kempler, says to squirt a small amount of washing up liquid into the container before adding some warm water.

She said: "So, I never post on here but I really wanted to share this trick for getting greasy stains out of Tupperware

And added: "This hack has saved so many of my Tupperware friends. Try it!!!!"

After adding little soapy water, tear off some kitchen roll and chuck it in – that's right, just pop it in and allow it to soak up the water.

Pop the lid on and shake, shake, shake – for roughly 45-60 seconds.

Empty its contents, give it a rinse and a wipe it over -and there you have it, a super clean, oil-free container.

The addition of the paper towel helps to absorb all that oily residue during the shaking process, leaving the surface squeaky clean. It's genius, really, and SO easy.

So no more throwing away tupperware just because they're stained.
