I live in a bus with my man and pets – the petrol’s cheaper than our old rent and I made everything myself, even the loo | The Sun

WITH the cost-of-living rising, it can seem that once we have paid for our rent or mortgage, our pockets are left feeling pretty empty.

But one couple didn’t want to let such huge costs get them down and so decided to buy and live in an old school bus instead.

Known on TikTok as ‘buslifebotanicals’, Alyssa and her partner John have converted an old school bus together and have managed to keep their costs of living extremely low in the process.

The couple regularly share an insight into their unique lifestyle on social media, where they have 20.2k followers and 215k likes on the video sharing platform.

The couple live in their bus with their two dogs and two cats and explained that they have been converting the bus as they go.

They have done everything themselves, including making their very own toilet.

“When you first walk in there’s a little living area that also doubles as a guest bedroom and then there’s our little kitchen with a stove, a hammock and all of that.

“My fiancé John will show you the back of the bus, after the kitchen we have our little bathroom with our composting toilet and a shower will eventually be there.
