A WOMAN has revealed that she bought the grottiest caravan for just £150 and has given it a mega makeover, using predominantly second-hand buys.

The DIY fan explained that she transformed the caravan in just one year and people are stunned when they see how epic it is.

Posting on TikTok under the username @hanbullivanthome, Hannah Bullivant shared a video showing off the caravan after its epic transformation.

Posting the clip with the caption ‘To celebrate the end of the static caravan reno’, Hannah showed off before and after pictures and videos of the “epic static caravan transformation.”

She explained: “To celebrate the end of the project, here’s a before and after of a static caravan we renovated for our friends.

“It cost £150 (I know) but it was in a sad state.”

Hannah posted a variety of images of the inside of the caravan, prior to its overhaul.

When she first bought the tiny home in Kent, it looked very tired and needed a lot of TLC.

The carpets were filthy and half ripped up, the wallpaper was peeling off of the walls and it was in a bit of a mess.

Not only this, but the outside was a state too.

Hannah then added: “18 months later…Come have a look around.

“The brief was to create a lux holiday lodge for their friends and family to stay in, on a super tight budget.

“We sourced 80% of it secondhand and did 98% of the labour ourselves.

“We love it and are looking forward to lots of visits.”

Hannah then posted clips of the caravan’s new look – not only was it done immaculately, but it had a chic, modern feel too.

They first stripped everything out, and then rebuilt the floor and walls so they’d be in a good condition.

Next they decorated the walls with wallpaper, panelling and tiles to make the inside look more stylish.

They also made a beautiful bathroom, added a sofa, cushions, plants and a log burner to the lounge, and gave it a new kitchen.

They even added wood to the outside of the static home to give it a lodge feel.

The finished result looked stunning and not only was the inside given a major freshening up, but the outside was transformed too, and was totally unrecognisable.

Hannah’s clip has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly amassed a whopping 148,700 views.

It has 10.3k likes, 333 comments, 1,038 saves and 796 shares.

Social media users were left open-mouthed at the caravan’s overhaul and many were eager to express this in the comments.

One person said: “That's absolutely beautiful. it doesn't look anything like a static caravan anymore. 100% I'd live there.”

Another added: “Amazing, what a fantastic transformation.”
