I’m a teacher – I had the most AWKWARD run-in with a student on a date, it was so bad I had to end things
DATES can get real awkward real fast if you happen to run into somebody you know.
For one teacher, that person happened to be one of his students.
Speaking on the Teachers Off Duty podcast, Pre-kindergarten teacher Tell Williams shared what he dubbed as the "most uncomfortable parent-teacher conference of [his] life."
Williams explained that while chatting with his date, he saw one of his students walk in with her mother.
When Williams realized his student was approaching him to say hi, he sighed and told his date sorry.
At that point, Williams' date couldn't see the student or her mother approaching their table as his back was facing them.

He then explained what happened next: "As she comes to say hi, she doesn't say hi to me, she pivots and goes 'Dad?!'"
Meanwhile, the mother sprints over to the table, and Williams immediately thought: "Oh my god, they're married."
After Williams asked if the two parents were still married, they hastily explained that they divorced two years ago and tried to convince him it wasn't weird to date his student's father.
But, Williams couldn't handle the awkwardness and had to end things with his date.
