Princess Charlene of Monaco was photographed taking her two children to their first day back at school. The royal wore a blush pink dress for the occasion.

The dress is by designer Akris from Saks Fifth Avenue.

It is the Techno Structured Lines Lace Cape Scarf Midi Dress.

The product description reads: “This technical structured lines sleeveless midi dress is cinched at the waist with a slim belt accented with a Kinderstern buckle and features a removable cape overlay that adds an elegant layered look.”

The dress has a round neck and keyhole front cut. It is sleeveless but has a removable boatneck cape.

It is made in Switzerland and of French fabric and is in the colour Lilola.

According to the website, the dress was originally priced at £3,685.86 but is currently on sale for £914.08.

However, it is a popular design even before Princess Charlene stepped out in it, as it is sold out.

On her feet, the Princess wore a pair of matching peach sandal heels.

She also wore dark red nail varnish on her toes, despite having bare fingernails.

For accessories, the royal opted for a simple pair of pale pink stud earrings and had her short blonde hair neatly styled.

Princess Gabriella wore two colourful beaded bracelets – one on each wrist – and a cute black headband which featured kitten ears.

Her backpack was pink and featured iridescent straps and the main body was pink sequins.

Her brother, Jacques opted for a Super Mario backpack instead.

During one photograph of the children, Gabriella was seen clutching Jacques’ hand.

This is not the most recent time Princess Charlene has stepped out, she was seen over the weekend, again with her family for “U Cavagnetu”, the traditional Monaco picnic in the park.

The royal wore an all-white outfit instead, featuring a long lace tunic, which she wore over wide-leg white trousers.

The photographs showed her some distance away from Prince Albert and holding onto her daughter.
