Queen Letizia stepped out this morning, March 22, to visit an exhibition about Spanish Humanist Nebrija at the National Library in Madrid. For the occasion, the royal donned a navy blue dress.
Queen Letizia’s dress was one she has worn many times in the past – it is one of the royal’s favourites due to its simple yet elegant design.
Called the Massimo Dutti confetti dress, the garment was navy blue and covered in red, blue, and green polka dots.
It featured long sleeves and was made from a light, sheer material. The bodice was tight-fitting and the skirt flowed to Letizia’s shins. It also had a tiny slit just underneath the neckline.
Massimo Dutti is a Spanish brand and one that Letizia often champions. She is a fan of many European labels, including Zara and Gianvito Rossi.
Kate, the Princess of Wales, has also been seen in Massimo Dutti many times in the past. Today, Letizia matched her dress with a pair of red leather heels and a red clutch bag.
Her brunette locks were styled in loose waves and she sported her usual make-up look of lashings of black mascara and brown eyeshadow.

Letizia matched her eyeshadow with her lipstick, which was also a subtle shade of brown.
As for her jewellery, the royal donned the Criollas Triples Shewel earrings from jewellers Gold and Roses.
The earrings are three gold hoops adorned with silver diamonds. They are still available to buy on the jewellers’ website for a huge 1,675 euros, which is currently equivalent to £1,449.
The Spanish royal wore this exact look last October, also in Madrid, where she visited the Impact Hub Piamonte.
Letizia’s rewearing of outfits shows she is environmentally conscious, as well as aware of budget.
The royal has been busy in recent days and, last week, was seen at an award ceremony at the El Pardo palace.
For the occasion, she looked stunning in a bold red look.
She wore a dress with long puffed sleeves and a flowy skirt from the fashion brand Bimani.
The royal combined this with a pair of red stilettos and a pair of drop earrings by jewellers Gold and Roses.
Royal fans were quick to take to social media to praise the look. Instagram user @tebete___ commented: “Perfect” and @patriciacamperra simply said: “So pretty!”
Royal watcher @abuelaalaultima commented: “It’s official, red is her colour!”
Many others agreed and user @juanmacercas said: “She looks beautiful. Red is still her colour and this outfit looks good on her. I would have added accessories in other colours and I wish she would wear Victoria Beckham’s designs. She would look amazing!”
