THOMAS Markle “won’t meet” his grandchild when Meghan Markle gives birth, sources have claimed.
Sources close to the Duchess’s estranged father told TMZ that Thomas has no plans to travel to London to meet baby Sussex when he or she arrives.
Unlike the royal wedding, when it was Thomas’s health that prevented him from giving his daughter away, TMZ say his reason for staying away is because “he's squarely persona non grata.”
The sources added that Meghan’s dad believes that he has been unable to reconcile things with his daughter because she is in "cone of silence."
Fabulous Digital has contacted the palace for a comment.
It comes just days after reports that Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland has arrived in the UK for the birth of her first grandchild emerged.
The 62-year-old has hired a house sitter and dog walker, cancelled her yoga class and got a pal to put out her bins, the Sun exclusively revealed.
With daughter Meghan, 37, due to give birth to her first grandchild any day, friends said she was keen to fly from LA to be at her side.
One told The Sun On Sunday: “Like all mums, Doria wants to be there for her daughter at this seismic event in her life.
“She has sometimes worried about being so far away but she is absolutely going to be there for her at the birth.
She wants to spend as much time as possible with her first grandchild and has come over for a sustained period of time.
“Meghan also wanted to show off her new house to her mum and the two have been enjoying spending time together.”
Social worker Doria is understood to have gone from her modest two-bed bungalow in the Windsor Hills district of Los Angeles last week.
She has a live-in sitter to walk her pitbull cross and Yorkie mongrel dogs twice a day.
In other royal news Richard Madeley slammed Thomas Markle as a “toerag” and described his behaviour as unforgivable.
