The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have called their son Louis, after keeping us guessing for four days.
Many took to social media to welcome the newborn into the world – and point out a few famous faces with whom he shares a name.
One Twitter user photoshopped a picture of Louis Tomlinson onto the body of a baby, captioning the pics: "Prince Louis is so cute."
Others highlighted the fact there are now two members of One Direction that share names with members of the Royal Family.
And many referenced documentary filmmaker Louis Theroux, X Factor Judge Louis Walsh and King Louis (the orangutan) from Disney's The Jungle Book.
The child appears to have been named after Louis Mountbatten, the much-loved uncle of Prince Philip who was killed by an IRA bomb in 1979.
William and Kate have surprised punters in their choice of name, with Louis a 14/1 outsider this morning.
The newborn shares the name Louis with his brother George, who has it as one of his middle names. Louis is also one of William's middle names.
