At least £45million of the UK funds will help women’s groups in Asia and the Pacific. Women and children make up to 80 percent of those displaced by climate-related disasters. And £120million will go towards eco-initiatives in Bangladesh.

International Trade Secretary Anne-Marie Trevelyan, said: “The UK is committed to addressing this dual challenge head on.”
